About us

Originally, Røste was a small farm from 1850. After a holiday in 1970, the idea to start camping came about.
In 1973, the first two cabins were finished. The current owners, Astrid Nyvoll and Stein Ytterhaug, are the fifth generation on the farm and took over in 1998.
Today we have 14 cabins in different sizes and standards – from simple one-room camping cabins to high-standard cabins suitable for wheelchair users.
We also have about 40 pitches with electricity for caravans, motorhomes, or tents.
